Torqx Capital Partners enters into a partnership to acquire THB Verhoef
Torqx Capital Partners (“Torqx”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a partnership with Adriaan Verhoef to acquire Technisch Handelsburo Verhoef B.V. (“THB” or “the Company”). Adriaan Verhoef, the former owner and CEO, will retain a significant shareholding in the Company. THB is a wholesale distributor of technical parts for medium-speed engines mainly for marine but also for industrial applications. Customers are international fleet owners, shipping lines, specialist distributors and power plants that rely on THB for its wide and deep product assortment, best-in-class availability of genuine parts for a broad range of engines, and profound technical expertise and fast & flexible customer service. Torqx will support THB Verhoef in strengthening its specialist position by further broadening the product range of high-quality parts, as well as investing in the expansion of the team at THB. In addition, both Torqx as well as Adriaan Verhoef have the ambition to explore attractive buy-and-build opportunities in order to further strengthen the Company’s leading position.
