Torqx Capital Partners enters into a partnership and invests in Descroes, a leading Belgian specialist in fumigation, disinfection and other good treatment services
Torqx Capital Partners (“Torqx”) is pleased to announce that it has acquired a majority stake in Descroes BVBA (“Descroes” or “the Company”) in partnership with current owner Maxim Van Hoorebeeck, who will continue to be a significant shareholder of the company. Descroes is a leading Belgian provider of fumigation services for in- and outgoing cargo in ports. Other activities include heat treatment, bio treatments, gas measurements, and specialist pest control services. The Company serves a diverse set of customers including terminal operators, traders, forwarders and good owners. Descroes’ high-quality services ensure an expedient logistics process compliant with strict worldwide trade policies and mitigate economic and reputational risk from cargo infestation.
