Justus stands out for his intellectual depth and broad interests across economics, geopolitics, business and markets, combined with a clear, no-nonsense, disciplined, ownership-driven approach. He is known for cutting through complexity, shaping clear strategic choices and building strong, trusted relationships with management teams to drive sustainable value creation. In recent years, Justus has played a key role across multiple investments, most notably Claro Carwash, bringing an entrepreneurial mindset and having a direct impact on the growth and development of our portfolio companies.

Within Torqx, Justus plays an important leadership role. He leads by example, is deeply committed to the firm, the team and our portfolio companies, and is regarded as a trusted sounding board and role model for younger colleagues. His approachable style and understated sense of humor contribute positively to team dynamics, while maintaining a clear focus on performance and responsibility.

Before joining Torqx, Justus spent more than seven years at HAL Investments, where he was involved in investments across a wide range of sectors and helped set up an investment platform focused on growth companies contributing to the energy transition.
His promotion reflects both his individual contribution and the confidence Torqx has in him as a Partner for the years ahead.
