Claro Carwash takes its first step into Noord-Holland with One2Wash Zaandam and Hoorn
Claro welcomes the two One2Wash car wash locations in Zaandam and Hoorn as the newest additions to the group. For Claro, this marks the first step into Noord-Holland, a region the company has been eager to enter for some time. With this acquisition, Claro brings on board a well-established car wash business with strong regional recognition — even appearing on television, where the Zaandam location is regularly featured in coverage related to Sahara dust events.
One2Wash was built by Edward Verdoold, a widely respected entrepreneur who also dedicated seven years to the industry as a board member of BOVAG. What began with the development of Zaandam in 2012 grew into a highly regarded car wash business, in which Edward not only set a high bar for quality but also demonstrated the courage to acquire and further expand the Hoorn location. Under his leadership, a close-knit team emerged — a group that, with true ownership and pride, drives the daily success of both sites.
